The DTES is already a neighbourhood facing significant food insecurity challenges, but now our most cherished grocery market is at risk of redevelopment. Sunrise has recently been listed for sale for $4.5m.What does it mean for our neighbourhood to lose one of our last sources for affordable groceries? What can we do about it?
