About this Event
Ten speakers from The Bartlett, UCL and College of Urban and Environmental Sciences, Peking University, China will share their research on environmental governance and climate change.
Through a dialogue between the UK and Chinese experience, this research exchange in the two diverse contexts will offer valuable insights by identifying best practices, assessing policy transferability, offering tailored solutions, and contributing to global efforts to address carbon emissions and enhance social inclusion in urban industrial development. The comparison contributes to understanding the complexity and diverse pathways of low-carbon transitions.
The speakers include Professor Mike Raco (Head of BSP, UCL), Professor Le-Yin Zhang (DPU, UCL), Professor Catalina Turcu (BSP, UCL), Professor Lauren Andres (BSP, UCL), Professor Fulong Wu (BSP, UCL), and Professor Fangzhu Zhang (BSP, UCL), Professor Canfei He (Dean of CUES, PKU), Professor Guangzhong Cao (CUES, PKU), Professor Gang Liu (CUES, PKU), and Dr. Liang Ma (CUES, PKU).
