Conference focus
We believe our addiction recovery conference is unique. It focuses on the integration of spirituality and psychology in facilitating trauma-informed pathways to Emotional Sobriety.
Unlike academic-focused conferences, ours is shaped by the personal understanding of:

We aim to create a welcoming space for practitioners experienced in 12-Step and those walking the recovery path to:

At the conference
Each day features research-backed sessions combined with holistic and spiritual discussions on pathways to addiction recovery and achieving Emotional Sobriety.
The conference will run from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (GMT) with this schedule:
- 8:00 am: Room opens
- 9:00 am to 12:00 pm: Emotional Sobriety workshop with Dr. Allen Berger and Herb Kaighan
- 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm: Lunch* and Fellowship
- 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm:
- Trauma-Informed recovery pathways: Dr. Ingrid Clayton and guests
- The Intersection of Spirituality & Psychology in Recovery: Rami Shapiro and guests
We will provide tea, coffee, water and light snacks throughout the day.
Lunch is not included in the registration fee but is available…. Alternatively, you can bring your own lunch.
Conference highlights
Step path will run a three-day workshop. Together, they will help participants unlock the "Joy of Living" by working the 12 Steps focused on Emotional Sobriety.
Renowned spiritual teacher Rami Shapiro will moderate sessions exploring the intersection of spirituality and psychology in recovery.
Dr. Ingrid Clayton provides a professional perspective, taking a trauma-informed approach to addiction treatment. She will moderate discussions centred on trauma and how to create recovery pathways that meet individual needs and adversities.
Workshops and sessions
The sessions are 90 minutes to allow for in-depth discussion. They will provide deep insight into the scientifically proven foundations of the 12-Step approach, including:
An examination of the latest research on neuroplasticity and neural pathways. Presenters will show how the steps trigger positive neurobiological changes that support long-term recovery.
The mind-body connection from a holistic wellness perspective, offering self-care strategies that target addiction on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels.
Creative art therapies to mindfulness practices, taking an integrated approach to healing trauma. They will anchor participants in the present moment, identifying and processing underlying issues and nurturing essential life skills that sustain sobriety.

Tickets for online attendance
You will/will not need to register in advance to attend on Zoom. A small fee per ticket will apply for virtual attendance to cover event costs.
