About this Event

Moksha Canada Foundation is excited to share that our 5th Annual Toronto Diversity Festival will be an in-person event this year!!

TORONTO DIVERSITY FESTIVAL 2022

DATE:

Saturday, August 27, 11 pm to 10 pm

LOCATION:

Nathan Philips Square

215 King Street, W. Downtown Toronto

The Toronto Diversity Festival attracts people from all over the GTA and surrounding regions, including many who will have attended Moksha Canada events throughout previous summers. Toronto is Canada’s most ethnically diverse city with nearly 80 percent of residents self-identifying as visible minorities. Arts, culture, and heritage are
on the top of mind while residents and newcomers alike look forward to the
Toronto Diversity Festival as a safe space to celebrate their cultural diversity with artistic performances, food, music, dance, children's activities, vendors, local businesses and many more activities for all ages and interests.

The Toronto Diversity Festival promotes our region’s rich diverse culture and heritage through arts and cultural performances; by showcasing foods from different ethnic countries that bring out the rich tastes and traditions from our increasingly diverse region. The festival also celebrates harmony through different multicultural performances. Also, exhibitors will be selling clothing, jewelry, paintings, handicrafts, and food.

The festival will include a variety of participatory activities for all ages to enjoy, including cooking demonstrations, interactive workshops, panel discussions, competitions, games and more.

To celebrate diversity in the Toronto region, Moksha Canada strives to recognize unique differences across cultures by recognizing the many cultures and lifestyles represented in the region.

We are all one, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, age, physical abilities, religious beliefs, political beliefs, or other ideologies…. Let’s celebrate this ‘spirit of oneness’ at the Toronto Diversity Festival at @NathanPhilipsSquare!
