🌱 We’re getting involved in Tidy Town Fest – A trail of community pride is about to sweep across Barrow, and we’re proud to be part of it 💚In conjunction with the Keep Britain Tidy campaign ‘Great British Spring Clean’, Barrow is hosting Tidy Town Fest from Monday 23rd – Sunday 29th March 2026 – a week-long celebration of community action to create cleaner streets and brighter, greener spaces for everyone.
👉 Our contribution:
We’ll be taking part through our regular Saturday litter pick, but this one will be extended so we can clean up the whole of Abbey Road 🙌
This is a great chance to make a visible difference to one of Barrow’s main routes and show what community action can achieve when we work together.
There will also be many more litter picks happening in that week organised by loads of brilliant local organisations including Barrow BID, Cumbria Wildlife Trust, Barrow Town Council, The Litter Hitters and many more.
🗓 When: Saturday (extended session – usual start time) 11am - 1pm
📍 Where: Abbey Road, meeting point to be confirmed
🧤 Who: Everyone welcome – new faces always encouraged!
