About this Event
Join residents, families, and our partners from Warrior Down LERO and Bram Longstaffe for a friendly afternoon litter pick across Barrow Island as part of this year’s Tidy Town Fest. Everyone is welcome to come along and help us give the island a well‑deserved clean‑up.
About the Event
From 2pm to 3.30pm, we’ll be walking key areas of Barrow Island together, collecting litter and taking pride in our shared spaces. This is a relaxed, family‑friendly session designed to bring neighbours together while supporting the wider festival effort happening across Barrow.
What to Expect

- Litter‑picking equipment provided
- A gentle route suitable for all ages
- A chance to meet others and make a visible difference to the community
Who Can Join
Residents, families, and anyone who wants to get involved. Children are very welcome with supervision.

After the Pick
Stay for refreshments and a chat—our partners will be hosting a relaxed get‑together afterwards as a thank‑you for taking part.
