Thursday Portrait Class
Come join us at New Street Studios for our weekly portrait class on Thursdays! Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this class is perfect for anyone looking to improve their portrait drawing skills. Artist Ralph Nel will guide you through various techniques and tips to help you capture the essence of your subject, or simply use the time and space to work on your own portrait goals with professional support. We'll be drawing from both models and busts, and explore the techniques, and methods of historical artists too.
Situated on the picturesque Tudor-era New Street on Plymouth's Barbican, New Street Studios offers a quiet and dedicated creative space to build your personal style and skillset.
Some materials provided but you may wish to bring your own sketchbooks and equipment.
These ongoing classes are open and inclusive, and will cover a range of materials and techniques as they progress.
