Breno Virícimo - Acoustic Guitar and Vocals
Fernando Del Papa, Brazilian musician and composer, also known as Fernando Cavaco, in reference to his favorite instrument, the "cavaquinho" (small Brazilian guitar), comes from a family of musicians, so he was immersed in the rich tradition of samba and choro from an early age.
With a passion for world cultures, he moved to Paris at the age of 20 to further his training in ethnomusicology.
In the more than twenty years since he settled in the French capital, he has never ceased to bring to forró and roda de samba a new, rhythmic sound and an innovative register far removed from the clichés of a glitzy Brazil. He plays with Roda do Cavaco, Orquestra do Fubá and Terça Feira Trio. French audiences, particularly those in Paris, have discovered him over the years and faithfully support this Brazilian cultural agitator.
He has also collaborated with the Hippocampe body mime company and the Morosof contemporary circus company. He has also worked with artists such as Mayra Andrade, Fabiana Cozza, Márcio Faraco, Vincent Ségal, Babx, David Linx, André Minvielle...
Breno Virícimo
Born and raised in the south of Brazil (Santa Catarina), Breno moved to Amsterdam to continue my musical studies in 2010. Growing up in Brazil has clearly influenced his feeling for rhythm, both in the sense of the traditional Brazilian repertoire and also in his recent music productions.
