🎥Filmed over five years at Tāpapakanga Regional Park during Splore Festival, multimedia artist Serena Stevenson presents a unique live music multimedia experience, with original score in collaboration with Michael Hodgson, Paddy Free (Pitch Black), Ed Zuccollo, Nikita 雅涵 Tu-Bryant, Dylan C, Arcus String Quartet (APO), and Auckland Gospel Choir.🎼 Performed live and screened for one night only at Tāmaki’s grand dame of cinema, The Civic Theatre, Friday 14 February, Valentine’s Day. 🌹
THREE DAYS IN FEBRUARY is a response through musical composition, sound recordings and imagery to the experience of being in nature, of being invited onto the land by mana whenua and becoming part of a gathering, a festival. It is about the feeling of what it is like to be in connection with others through playfulness, joy, exhaustion, the sharing of food, music, and dance.
With an original score that will be performed live in the theatre THREE DAYS IN FEBRUARY at The Civic will be a unique opportunity for our community to come together and promises to be the hottest ticket for Valentines Day.
