About this Event
We are restarting our monthly poetry club!
Our poetry club is a vibrant and diverse community dedicated to those with a passion for poetry, spoken word and creative writing, all while ensuring a great time for everyone!
Join us to enhance your skills through engaging Poetry/Spoken Word & Creative Writing Workshops. In this space, discover more about yourself and refine your craft.
The workshops are curated by Toyah Demi, a London-born writer, spoken word poet and conversation host.
In her poetry, Toyah enjoys centring on those inward conversations we usually have with ourselves. In Toyah’s words, ‘poetry transforms the self.’
Tickets are Pay What You Can and goes toward supporting the charitable activities of The Royal Foundation of St Katharine, which run The Yurt Cafe.
The Royal Foundation of St Katharine is a Retreat and Conference Centre in the heart of East London, founded in 1147.
The majority of our Community Events are on a 'Pay What You Can' basis. There are multiple prices to choose from, and to help you with this decision, we have included a recommended price per ticket which support our charitable activities - you can see more on this here.
