The Wise & Whys of Money-Empowering Girls Through Financial Literacy
A special event designed to inspire girls in grades 3 through high school to build confidence and learn real-life money skills—including saving, spending, and earning—and understand their power to make smart financial decisions.
This year’s event is a collaborative community effort hosted in partnership with Armor Down Girls, the YWCA Evanston/North Shore, and Evanston Community Bank & Trust - A Branch of Wintrust Bank.
Through interactive breakout sessions, showcases, discussions, and activities, participants will select breakout rooms organized by the following:

- YWCA Evanston/North Shore
- Evanston Community Bank & Trust
This event is part of an ongoing mission to empower girls, increase access to financial education, and support their growth into confident, independent young women.
