The high-quality coffee table book the William Goldberg Way reveals the fascinating story of a diamond pioneer and timeless luxury icon.
Nearly a century after William Goldberg was born in Sheepshead Bay, more than 75 years after earning his first chance as a young diamond cutter, and 50 years after establishing the business that would forever change the American diamond trade, Mr. Diamond lives on. The William Goldberg Way provides a look behind the scenes of a legendary jeweler, it tells the exciting story of a pioneer and a modern Renaissance man and it is a treasure trove for all lovers of exclusive jewelry and those with a taste for the finer things in life.
Eve Goldberg has been a principal and partner at William Goldberg for over 30 years, the legendary diamond house founded by her father more than six decades ago. She played a pivotal role in branding and marketing the patented ASHOKA® diamond, helping drive its international success and placement with exclusive jewelers worldwide.
Eve has adorned celebrated clients including Nicole Kidman, Oprah Winfrey, Elizabeth Taylor, Sharon Stone, Reese Witherspoon, and Debra Messing.
Carrying forward her father’s legacy, Eve is deeply involved in everything from naming new collections to overseeing custom designs, ensuring the house’s celebrated stones and craftsmanship continue to set the standard in diamond jewelry.
Jill Newman is a jewelry and gemstone expert whose stories appear in the international edition of the New York Times, Robb Report, Galerie Magazine, and other media platforms. Over her career, Jill has written in-depth coverage on the mining industry, which included visits to diamond mines across Africa, and trips to cutting workshops in India and gem mines in Brazil.
Saul Goldberg, President of William Goldberg, took over the reins of the company after his father’s death in 2001.
Saul entered the family diamond business soon after graduating from college. He began at the bench as a diamond cutter but quickly progressed into the buying office, traveling to London and Africa and anywhere else the rough took him. Saul, like his father, always had a passion for beautiful diamonds and elevated the company into new areas, creating magnificent diamond jewelry .Today, William Goldberg is one of the most premier manufacturers of haute diamond jewelry in the world.
