Featuring artists and advocates from Mural Arts Philadelphia's groundbreaking program at SCI Phoenix, panelists will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the art room, the men and the creative process, and the lasting impact of public art as a vehicle for healing and restorative justice.
Topics will include the history and evolution of the program at SCI Phoenix/Graterford, the experiences of artists who have worked directly with incarcerated individuals, the upcoming community mural project, and how the public can support the artists and the program moving forward.
