About this Event
The Un-Art Hour
A beginner-friendly workshop where we take art off the pedestal and return it to people. For anyone who’s ever thought “I can’t draw” or “my art isn’t good enough,” for anyone wanting to reconnect with their inner artist, or for anyone simply ready to begin again.
Join us for an hour where we fight global poverty and hunger through simple creative exercises, connect with others, and explore an open conversation about redefining art as expression rather than perfection. No pressure, no performance—just play, presence, and possibility.
The Un-Art Hour is a fundraising event supporting The Borgen Project, an organisation working at the political level to make global poverty and international development central to the foreign policy agendas of both the United States and the United Kingdom. Every penny from your ticket directly supports their mission: advocating for policy change, amplifying humanitarian issues, and working toward a world where opportunity isn’t determined by geography.
This workshop is led by a self-taught artist, someone who knows firsthand what it means to begin with a true beginner’s mind and who can gently guide others to understand, explore, and rediscover their own creative voice.
