This major revival of Florian Zeller’s wickedly entertaining comedy will play a limited run at the West End’s Apollo Theatre from 9 June to 12 September 2026.
Directed by Lindsay Posner (A View From the Bridge), The Truth is adapted by Christopher Hampton (Les Liaisons Dangereuses), and marks a major return to the West End for Zeller’s provocative farce. It was last staged a decade ago in 2016 at the Wyndham’s Theatre, following a record-breaking run at the Menier Chocolate Factory.
(The Split, Episodes), returns to the stage following his acclaimed performance in Mike Bartlett’s Unicorn at the Garrick Theatre.
The cast also features comedy icon Ardal O’Hanlon (Father Ted, How To Get To Heaven From Belfast), Sarah Hadland (Miranda, Strictly Come Dancing, The Job Lot) and double Olivier Award-winner (Follies).
