About this Event
Join us on Wednesday 7th August from 10am - 1pm at Higham Hill Hub. The space comprises an indoor portacabin (also where toilets are located), large enclosed garden and within the garden is an open tent.
Please note: This event is in partnership with Waltham Forest Council and is FREE to children who live or go to school in Waltham Forest. If you're not a resident and would still like to come, please book a paid ticket (or free if cost is a barrier).
This event is for primary school children aged 5-11.
Here's what to expect at the space:
INDOORS (PORTACABIN - ALSO WHERE TOILETS ARE LOCATED)
Ananda & Rachel return again to inhabit our Sensory Space.
Join them to embark on a very special sensory journey exploring nature in summer time.
This workshop has been designed specifically to be accessible for young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and offers an immersive and participatory experience.
Sound and movement will be used to help embody the season and individuals will be guided and invited to take part in their own way and at their own pace while sharing in the communal journey.
Due to the nature of the session and for it to be as beneficial to those participating as possible, there will be a fixed start time.
After the workshop the space will be opened up and there will be the opportunity for all to come to explore and play.

Soft Play: Ball pit and building blocks
Activities:
Fitness - monkey bars, slack lines, obstacle course and a variety of equipment to move and have fun.
Blink Dance Theatre Workshop!
Kids Kitchen
Café:
Whilst your children are doing these activities, you can sip on a hot drink and munch a pastry from local café Haven Coffee who will be popping up. Pastries made by local bakery Today Bread.
