The Super Mellow Beach Cruise CIII - May 17th, 2026 - 1 to 4pm! Join us for the first session of 2026!
This is session #103. Can you believe it?!?
Wondering about that letter C???
We just like using silly Roman numerals!
We've been numbering them since
the first session back in 2007.
We had no idea back when we called
our first session back in May 2007
that we would get to three digits.
PLEASE READ the info below!

IF you enjoy skating with other skaters...
OR you just purchased a longboard
and could use a few tips...
OR you're looking for like-minded skate friends...
OR you've been skating forever
OR you're in a super mellow mood...
... then we've got the perfect session for you.

That's right YOU!

WHAT: The Super Mellow Beach Cruise CIII
HOSTED BY: The SMBC Collective!!!
DATE: Sunday, May 17th, 2025
TIME: 1pm to 4pm (maybe even later)
MEETING PLACE: Toronto Library Beaches Branch
ADDRESS: 2161 Queen Street East

* * * HELMETS ARE MANDATORY! * * *

Meet up east of Woodbine Avenue,
on the corner of Kew Gardens.
You can take the bus south from
WOODBINE subway station or take
the long Queen streetcar ride
east from QUEEN subway station.
We'll leave at 1:15pm and go ride
the oh-so-smooth "bike" path,
soak up the sunshine, socialize,
and take breaks. We always make
sure no one gets left behind.
If there's interest, the post-SMBC hang
is at RC Harris where there's a fun hill
for skaters who are a lil' more experienced.
It's also fun to watch!

FAQs -
What is SMBC? Am I skilled enough???
Will I fit in? Where do you skate exactly?
Since May 2007, SMBC has been attended
by skaters of all skill levels, by punks,
emos and preppies, kids, millennials,
GenZ and OGs in their 40s and 50s.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN.
We've even skated with a 70 year-old!
We won't ask you to make a speech
and there is no hazing ritual involved.
People have made life-long friends at SMBC.
Just show up with a longboard or skateboard
aaaaaaaaaaaannnnddd a HELMET!
A fun time is had by all. Oh, and it's FREE!
We ride The Martin Goodman Trail
