About this Event
A 90-Minute Therapeutic Yoga Experience for Stress & Trauma Recovery
If you feel like you’re constantly “on,” overwhelmed, exhausted, or living in survival mode, you’re not alone.
Stress and trauma don’t just live in the mind — they live in the nervous system. When your stress response is stuck in fight, flight, freeze, or collapse, your body can feel tense, reactive, or unsafe… even when nothing is actually wrong.
The Stress Response Reset is a 90-minute therapeutic yoga experience designed to restore your body’s natural capacity for regulation and resilience.
This is not a fitness class.
It is a structured, trauma-informed nervous system retraining experience grounded in modern neuroscience, somatic psychology, and an embodied approach to healing.
Over the course of 90 intentional minutes, you will learn how to:
- Calm your nervous system in real time
- Build regulation capacity through embodied practice
- Cultivate nervous system flexibility to reduce hypervigilance, shutdown, and reactivity
- Address the physiological roots that underlie stress and trauma
- Improve sleep
- Enhance emotional stability
- Develop resilience to life’s stressors
- Reconnect with a sense of safety within your own body
- Restore healthy connection and communication in your relationships
This approach bridges modern neuroscience with ancient contemplative and wisdom practices, offering a practical, embodied, and spiritual pathway toward lasting well-being.
No prior yoga experience is required.
You do not need to be flexible, strong, or familiar with yoga poses.
The outer shape of the posture is not the goal — the inner experience is.
This class is accessible to those with mobility challenges. The entire experience can be practiced seated, and options are offered throughout.
You are encouraged to take breaks as needed. You may opt out of any movement that feels uncomfortable.
The class is not about performance. It is about presence.
It’s okay if you feel unsure.
It’s okay if you’ve tried other approaches that didn’t work.
This experience moves at a pace that honors safety, agency, and readiness.
When your nervous system learns to regulate consistently, lasting calm and resilience become possible.
