About this Event
Built By Us (BBU) is a social enterprise which exists to drive inclusive practices in the construction sector.
BBU’s Shape programme works with entrepreneurs from communities underrepresented in the sector. Join us in the New Year for an uplifting event, celebrating the 2025 cohort, that brings together start-up founders, freelancers and anyone curious about taking the first steps into self-employment.
This informal graduation event will give you the chance to:
- Meet entrepreneurs, focussed on social and environment change in the built environment, who have built their own ventures and hear insights on what helped them to get started
- Connect with freelancers working across the built environment.
- Learn and pick up practical tips on shaping an idea, building confidence and finding early clients.
- Grow your network in a relaxed and welcoming space.
