Dice Club is a social backgammon night built around a simple idea: the best conversations happen when there’s something on the table.
The Second Sitting returns to Pamenar for another evening of backgammon, drinks, music, and conversation in one of Toronto’s favourite late-night spaces. Some people come to play seriously, others just come to sit down, meet new people, and stay a little longer than they planned.
Whether you’ve played for years or barely know the rules, the night is designed to feel easy to step into. There’s no formal tournament structure, no pressure to compete, and no awkward standing around. Just boards set up across the room, dice rolling, and people moving naturally from table to table throughout the night.
This time, we’re also introducing an optional ladder table for anyone looking for a more competitive run of games, while the rest of the room stays open for casual play and conversation.
Dice Club was built to bring people together, so giving back feels like a natural part of the night. A portion of the proceeds from every ticket will continue to be donated to SickKids Hospital.
Capacity for this event is intentionally limited to keep the atmosphere intimate and social, and the first gathering filled up faster than expected, so RSVPing in advance is strongly encouraged. Entry will be prioritized for registered guests.
