About this Event
Are you attending this year's C2E2 comicon in Chicago from March 27-29? So are we! But the convention closes at like 7 PM, and you're going to want something cool to do after. May we suggest coming to our RADICAL SHINDIG on Friday March 27?
That's right! Ryan Browne (incredible artist of many kickass comics and Chicago resident) and Charles Soule (writer of this event description) are throwing another con party this year. Why? Several reasons:
- We had a blast last year and want to have a blast again
- We're putting out the first new EIGHT BILLION GENIES story in three years and wanted to celebrate it
- Logan Arcade - the coolest barcade in town - said we could come back
It'll be great! Logan Arcade is a world-class video game emporium, with arcade cabinets and pinball machines you'll have a (lucky) devil of a time finding anywhere else, from Killer Queen to the all-new Star Wars: Fall of the Empire pinball machine. It's also got a wide selection of fantastic drafts, craft cocktails, wine and excellent non-alcoholic options, plus food from Fry Like An Eagle right next door.
What else? How about GIVEAWAYS? With your ticket, you're getting a ton of free stuff. That includes:
- A beautiful 11x17 print created by Ryan Browne celebrating "The Red One," the all-new EIGHT BILLION GENIES story - with a FREE rubber band included so you can roll it up and get it home safe!
- A free Silent E Productions-branded beer coozie commemorating the event as well as our ongoing collaboration with Half Acre Brewing (who make both the GOD HATES ASTRONAUTS and EIGHT BILLION GENIES beers, and are co-sponsoring the party!)

What else? More stuff! At 10 PM sharp (unless we decide to do it later) Ryan and Charles will be engaging in an epic, live-streamed PINBALL BATTLE, WINNER-TAKE-ALL! (We don't know what "all" is in this case, but we'll come up with something. Also, Ryan plays pinball all the time and is really good, and Charles usually only does when he's hanging out with Ryan so is not as good. Place your bets accordingly - and responsibly.)
