JOIN VOICES - LITTERALLY
In the Rört Choir we sing ancient folk songs from countries such as Georgia, Bulgaria, Ukraine and explore our voices through vocal improvisation and rhythm.
The choir is open for both advanced and new singers of all ages and genders. It is not necessary to know music notation, but we expect that you like to sing - and preferably in tune ;)
ABOUT THE CHOIR LEADER
Nini holds a Master in Folk Singing from the Danish Music Conservatory and a Bachelor inWorld Song from the Malmö Conservatory of Music.
From 2006-2016 she was a full time singer and actress in the international theater company Teatr ZAR in Wroclaw, Poland. She is the creator and leader of Vokalgruppen NOOR as well as the choirs the World Choir and KONUR.
Nini has, among others, trained under Mahsa Vahdat, Anne Rosing, Jim Daus Hjernoe (RAMA Vocal Centre), Gunlis Ardevall (Estill Voice Training), Tempvs Fvgit and the Pilpani family.

TIME & DATES:
Tuesdays 17:00 – 19:00
- First rehearsal February 18th
- Last rehearsal: May 20th
- Concert: May 27th
- Easter break – no choir practice: April 15th
- Home-practices (you meet home and practice in voice groups): March 25th & May 6th
We expect that if you sign up for the choir, you will also join most of the rehearsal sessions. You are allowed to skip up to maximum 3 sessions in the season, that way we make sure everybody can learn the songs and keep the continuity of the choir and community going. Please consider whether this is possible for you before you sign up.

(This includes all rehearsals + the concert. It is not possible to sign up for individual sessions/rehearsals)
