The Rewind story open mic + social

This month's (totally optional) open mic theme is "The Road." Tell a true story about transformative cross-country journeys, road rage, things that happen in cars, or roads not taken.

The Rewind is a community of storytellers who gather monthly at DC Writer's Salon. Our open mic night is a low-stakes space to share a personal, true story (7min or less) in front of a supportive audience. Or just sit back and join the audience and see what some of DC's best storytellers are cooking.

Note: While we encourage you to pursue creative expression in all forms (poems, personal essays and journalistic pieces), our stage is for true personal stories about something that happened to you.

Oh, and there's pizza.
