About this Event
The Power of Spiritual Connection-Tour
An inspiring weekend celebrating West African dance, rhythm, storytelling and community. The programme includes a wood flute workshop and a singing workshop accompanied by Ngoni, and brings together master artists from Senegal, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Mali and the UK.
AiDance presents a performance rooted in power, spirit and deep cultural connection. This event brings together movement, music and storytelling to create an immersive journey through West African rhythm and tradition. The performance draws on ancestral instruments such as kora, flute and a wide range of traditional drums, weaving their sounds into the choreography and narrative.
The evening unfolds as a layered experience where voice, rhythm and dance come together to honour lineage, memory and community. Each section builds on the last, guiding the audience from intimate storytelling to full musical intensity. The result is a performance that feels both theatrical and spiritual, inviting viewers into a space where art becomes ceremony, celebration and collective energy.
