Join us for a Half term filled with fun activites all based around the theme of A Time Long Ago
The Pointer School Holiday club is a childcare facility for children aged 3 - 11. We offer a varied program of activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games and educational play to stimulate and entertain children.
Our arts and crafts are based on the theme of the week and include weekly special events and visitors.
The Holiday Club offers a safe environment with excellent adult: child ratios, under the watchful eye of our experienced staff who are all DBS checked. All our leaders are pediatric first aid qualified, and have experience in the Early Years.
Please provide your child with a cold nut-free pack lunch, a fruit snack for the morning and a refillable water bottle.

Day 1 Egyptian Day
Info: Today's craft activities are based around an Egyptian theme. The children will be making their own Egyptian Collars, amulets and cat models. The children will also be baking with our amazing Cookie Monsters team

Day 2 Dragons and Castles
Info: Today's craft theme will be based around Dragons and Castles with our youngest children making castle hand prints and our older attendees making their own craft dragons. Our youngest children will also have a visit from the wonderful Perform Drama team who will be entertaining them with a Dinosaur Explorer Workshop. Plus of course it would not be Tuesday in the holiday club if the children did not decorate their own biscuits.

Day 3 Winter Olympic Day
Info: Today's theme is the Winter Olympics which will be taking place in Italy this winter. Together with PE activities that will run throughout the day the children will be making Olympic torches and medals.

Day 4 Dinosaur Day
Info: Today's craft is based around the theme of Dinosaurs and we will be visited by the wonderful team from the Science Dome who will be bringing their mobile planetarium to school for the children to take part in Dinosaur workshops. Around the workshops the children will also be making craft dinosaurs, salt dough fossils and dinosaur eggs.

Day 5 Roman craft and party afternoon
Info: This morning the children will be making Roman olive leaf crowns and this afternoon is party afternoon where the children can take part in party games with the chance to win some party prizes.
