Comprised of two gifted musicians, The O’My’s channel their experiences and perspective into gritty, polished music that grabs listeners with its sound, and holds them with its content. Nick Hennessey and Maceo Vidal-Haymes, two Chicago natives, man the keys and guitar respectively, with Maceo handling vocal duties. Maceo, a master writer, pens all lyrics himself, leading to emotion laden songs that resonate deeply with listeners. Constantly evolving with their sound, the duo have grown and progressed with each of their projects, pushing their boundaries and challenging themselves with each release.

Rich Jones is an MC, promoter and all around life enthusiast from the Northwest side of Chicago. Since 2010, he has taken his talents near and far, playing everywhere from your cousin's neighbor's basement 2 states over to sharing the stage with Hip Hop/music luminaries at venues and festivals throughout the city. As a curator and promoter, he most notably booked the event series All Smiles which featured a mix of up and coming talent and seasoned veterans from Chicago and beyond from 2011-2019. He has also been featured on NPR's Weekend Edition, Okayplayer, the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Reader, most notably garnering runner up to Chance the Rapper in the 2016 Readers Poll. Bottom line, whether it’s food, music, art, etc. - if it's good, he probably knows about it or will know about it sooner than later. Just ask and he'll be happy to tell you!

Adwoa Ansah-Brew is a fresh new voice in Afro-beat and alternative R&B. Her music mixes innocence with overconfidence, and sexuality with dutiful-daughter piety. Born into an immigrant family, her music touches everyone who has experienced the rush of new love, heartache, and walling oneself off from hurt. Some of her songs are not lessons, but simply colors celebrating elastic leaps between musical genres, from hip hop to jazz to folk. A child of the DC suburbs "The DMV", with its well-known rush hours, hunger for real estate, conventionalities, hair weaves, high school beauty queens, football players and cheerleaders, Adwoa's dreamy introspective music and lyrics mystically transcend the boundaries of class, gender, and levels of sensuality and spirituality. "I let the music talk to me and reciprocate what it's saying in my lyrics." Crushed by the untimely death of her father Master Drummer Kwame Ansah-Brew, she keeps close the musical lessons he taught her and the joy of reconnecting people with their own emotions through music, and we walk away assured that a new friend--or new love--is just around the corner.
