The Narcissist and The Empath - Eleanor O’Rourke

Energetically, we are all somewhere on the spectrum of Narcissist/Empath. Children are natural narcissists but we (hopefully) teach them the joy of empathy so that they find their balance between the two.

A little narcissism is healthy. We see the disaster of too much narcissism everywhere these days, both in politics and social media.

Empathy is a wonderful quality, but too much empathy can result in a lack of boundaries, ineffective activism, and burnout.

Join me as we explore this dynamic so that we can move away from the rigid boxes of either/or into a more fluid understanding of exactly where we are between the two. This can change on a situation-by-situation basis so requires us to hone our intuitive gifts and to dive deep into patterns that we’ve absorbed both ancestrally and culturally.

This workshop will be hosted on the Zoom meeting platform where we will use our cameras and microphones to interact with each other as a group.

Eleanor O’Rourke is a creativity coach and author of four books on Creativity; Depression as unexpressed creativity; Creative Freedom and Flow.

She trained in a variety of modalities including NLP, Psychology of Vision, Shamanic practice and is a certified archetype consultant trained by Caroline Myss.
