Madison, WI — The Mu Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated will commemorate a historic milestone with The Golden Jubilee Masquerade: 50 Years of Old Gold in Madison, a celebratory charter day event honoring five decades of service, scholarship, and leadership in the Madison community.Founded in 1975, Mu Eta Lambda has served as a pillar of Black excellence in Dane County, advancing Alpha Phi Alpha’s mission of developing leaders, promoting brotherhood and academic excellence, and providing service and advocacy for communities of color. The Golden Jubilee Masquerade marks the chapter’s 50th charter anniversary, celebrating its enduring legacy while casting a bold vision for the future.
Set against an elegant masquerade theme, the event blends formal celebration with cultural reflection, bringing together fraternity brothers, community leaders, elected officials, alumni, partners, and supporters from across Wisconsin and beyond.
