The Life We Have: 5k/ Yoga, Brunch + Film Screening

Join us on Sunday, March 1st for a special community gathering celebrating the healing power of movement, connection, and shared stories.

We’ll start the morning with a choice of inclusive movement - RUN or YOGA.

RUN: an all paces, all abilities 5K community run hosted by Latinos Run Denver, beginning at REI Denver. Whether you run, jog, or walk, everyone is welcome.

OR

YOGA: an adaptable healing flow taught by Lov Yoga's Tara O'Donoghue, yoga therapist and specialist in working with athletes, cancer survivors, caregivers, women on a perinatal path and those experiencing grief. (Please bring a yoga mat)

After the movement, we’ll head just down the block to The Outpost on Platte for brunch and a screening of the moving short documentary The Life We Have, followed by a dynamic panel conversation with local advocates.

Produced by REI Co-op Studios and Seattle-based production company Wondercamp, follows one man’s extraordinary 20-year commitment to run every single day after receiving a stage four cancer diagnosis. This 24-minute film is a powerful reflection on resilience, community, and choosing to live with beautiful effort.

Community partners and will be onsite sharing resources and support for thrivers and caregivers.
