This annual award, now in its third year, celebrates emerging Gloucestershire writers who, like Laurie Lee, capture the spirit of place, nature, and the human experience through their prose and poetry.Alongside the announcement of this year’s winners, this is your chance to hear readings from the successful works and the entries which most captivated our judges.
The event will also feature a performance of ‘April Rise’, a poem by Laurie Lee, set to music by Jonathan Trim and performed by the Every Other Monday Choir.
