About this Event
The Women's Art Activation invite you to this event at the Museum to celebrate and reflect upon our National Lottery Heritage-funded Baby Makers: Making History project.
You can choose to join in any or all of the elements, including:
- Round-table afternoon discussions: birth practices, maternal histories in museums, Black maternal health
- View the new Birth History Display in the Collector’s Room
- Film Premiere: Stroud’s Birth Histories
- Presentation of new artwork from The WAAS
- Celebratory gathering in the early evening
Our discussions will be of relevance to birth health professionals as well as participants, families and anyone interested in birth history.

Please note some of the histories include aspects of trauma and loss.
