Who can participate?
All human powered boat types are welcome to take on this epic challenge with a focus on kayaks. All craft must be sea worthy as the weather and the tide can be unpredictable.
What is the distance?
The Championship Course is 4 miles, 374 yards or 6.8 km long.
The route
The event is a mass start from Putney and will follow the traditional boat race route to Mortlake.
What time does the event start?
Exact start time to be announced - in line with tide rhythms ebb/flow.
Anticipated to be two and a half hours before high tide.
After the event
The winner will be announced and the celebrations shall take place in a local pub, which has been booked. Details on entry.
