About this Event

Toni Cade Bambara wrote that "the role of the artist is to make the revolution irresistible."

As we approach this inevitability, we get to decide, a revolution for whom? Please join us for an evening of art, performance, and poetry that also invites us to evolve past hegemony, past mere identitarianism, and into the queer and trans liberatory futures we all deserve.

About the Host

dena harry saleh is a queer and trans Muslim Palestinian living on the unceded lands of the Ute, Cheyenne, and Arapaho peoples, as well as many other tribes, and works as a multi-modal artist and scholar. Their work has been featured in Disability Visibility Justice (the blog of the late Alice Wong), American Quarterly, Black, Indigenous & Trans of Color Histories Lab, Apogee Journal, Marathon Lit online magazine, and in an anthology of poetry called "A Free Palestine" they co-edited and published in 2025.

They are a PhD student at University of Colorado, Boulder, and they believe that Palestine will be free in our lifetime.
