The History of the Pink Juke box with Jacky Logan

The Pink Jukebox is a Ballroom and Latin dance club for members of the LGBTQ+ community and their friends.

Jacky has been a DJ for ballroom and Latin dancing since 1995, campaigning for 30 years for equality for people who want to dance with same gender partners. She was awarded a British Empire Medal in 2020 for services to same-sex ballroom dancing.

Having DJ’d at the Festival Hall, Rivoli Ballroom and many dance studios and tea dances, she is passionate about music and welcoming new people to the Dance floor.

This event is organised with the Friends of Durning Library. Refreshments available (donation £3 suggested).
