Join Harlem World Magazine on October 23, 2025, at 6 PM, at the historic American Negro Theatre within the Schomburg Center, as we celebrate New York City's 400th Anniversary and the 100th Anniversary of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture.
This year's A.C.E. Summit will focus on Arts, Climate Change, and Education–key issues vital to Harlem's community legacy and growth. Hosted by Harlem World Magazine President CC Minton, with Executive Editor Eartha Watts Hicks moderating, and opening and closing remarks by Editor-in-Chief Ann Brown, the evening kicks off with a red-carpet reception hosted by The Harlem World Advisory Board.
Join in with esteemed thinkers, cultural visionaries, and grassroots leaders in a dynamic panel discussion and audience Q&A. Invited panelists include community leader and educational equity advocate, Veronica Holly, climate advocate Peggy Shepard from WE ACT, and esteemed artist/educator Dr. David Byer-Tyre. The event will also honor Harlem's legendary, newly retired City Council Woman Inez Dickens.
The 2025 A.C.E. Summit will explore pressing issues, including:
* Art as Activism* Climate Change & Environmental Justice, as these threats pertain to Harlem
* Educational Equity and Inequities, including book banning
* The Rollback of Black History Initiatives nationwide
Guest will experience an evening of elevated local voices, shared critical prspectives that will generate actionable solutions for our community's future.
