About this Event
"The Great British Yarn" is the latest documentary by film director Xaymaca Awoyungbo. It explores the communities behind postbox toppers (knitted or crocheted decorations on top of pillar boxes) to highlight the ways in which diverse groups are bring people together.
The film screening and fundraiser will raise money for local craft group, The Walthamstow Welcome, and Walthamstow Toy Library.
