About this Event
Like every generation, we in Gen Z face our fair share of negative stereotypes – particularly when it comes to the subject of work! They make us wonder how we’ll fit into the workforce – how will we get on with the Baby Boomers, Gen X, or Millennials?
Gen Z is set to form the majority of the workforce by 2030, so SkyCity wants to explore how to embrace Gen Z and empower not only us but those we’ll be working alongside.
We’ve created a free conference called ‘The Future of Work: From A to Gen Z’, run by the SkyCity rangatahi Employee Resource Group ‘Elevate’. During the four-hour event, we’re going to dive into this important topic, discussing everything from sustainability to AI, diversity, equity, and inclusion. There will be spot prizes, panellists, and plenty of opportunities to mix and mingle.
So, come along and learn more – whether you’re an emerging Gen Z leader or an ally looking to support us.

- 4:30pm: Conference concludes, followed by networking and drinks in the SkyCity Theatre foyer.

About the organisers:
The conference is being organised by SkyCity’s very own rangatahi employee resource group, elevate; who are dedicated to engaging young talent, celebrating diversity, elevating growth and creating positive and meaningful experiences for rangatahi. Until this point, elevate has worked exclusively to empower and inspire its internal SkyCity staff – through this event, we are excited to extend our reach to wider Auckland.
