About this Event
This year, the Food for Good project moved from co-design to action to test how community-driven ideas can impact the local food ecosystem. Across Kingston-Galloway-Orton Park (KGO), residents, community leaders and partner organizations piloted new approaches to address growing food-related challenges in KGO.
To share key learnings and build on this work, we are hosting the Food for Good Summit — highlighting what these pilots are showing us and where we go from here.
Location: University of Toronto Scarborough Campus (transportation from the Storefront can be provided for residents)

- Open discussions in the The focus areas of the community-designed projects
- Why gardens are critical neighbourhood infrastructure
- What it means to centre dignity across all dimensions of food security
- A live chef experience.
- The launch of TogetherKGO, a community-driven tool to better connect people and organizations across KGO
