About this Event
On Sunday, June 28th, the creatures of New York Harbor rise up in song, dance, and Revolution aboard the historic Waterfront Museum barge in Red Hook, Brooklyn — in a spectacular world-premiere family musical featuring giant puppets, fun songs, and a cast of unforgettable undersea heroes.
About the Show
Join George Washington Sturgeon, Alexander Starfish, the fearless Marquis de Seahorse, Fabulous Frog, Gorgeous Great Blue Heron, and the Harbor Battalion as they battle the greedy King Blue Crab and his invading Industry Fleet in a thrilling underwater adventure inspired by the real wildlife, waterways, and Revolutionary history of New York Harbor.
As smoke-belching Industry Ships invade Brooklyn Harbor, George Washington Sturgeon and his underwater revolutionaries must retreat across the river to the marshes of New Jersey — where they discover the secret power of the tides and prepare for the great Battle of the Turning Tide!
Featuring giant waves, harbor creatures, sing along songs, audience participation, comedy, and a triumphant musical finale, this unforgettable family event transforms New York Harbor into a living Revolutionary adventure. Perfect for ages 4–104.
