The Emperials are stalwarts of the UK Ska world and Bristol music scene, with 24 years of gigs under their belt, including (at least) 40 shows at the legendary Fleece.
With a reputation for fun, entertaining, professional and very lively shows, the line up of rock-solid drums, pounding bass, skanking guitar and Hammond keyboard are adorned by an energetic and blasting brass sections, all led into battle by the storming and versatile vocals.
Having played with all the greats of the ska and reggae world and doing it since 2002, The Emperials are not just another ska review band… they do things their way. Ska classics, reggae singalongs, awesome rarities, unexpected delights and those dancey bangers always have crowds singing along and dancing til they drop.
2025 saw The Emperials take their act into theatres, curating and performing a stage show called “This is Ska” with a night of ska classics, along with props, visuals and storytelling which left the sold-out crowds wowed, entertained, and dancing in the aisles.
Also in 2025, The Emperials appeared at the Cheese & Grain with punters demanding a return to Frome ASAP!!! Well Frome, this is your chance.... join us for a night for a celebration of all things ska, reggae and good times.
