Plod for Pastries: Croissant Crawl 2026
Plod for Pastries is back with our second annual Croissant Crawl - a fun, social charity fancy dress run raising money for rhino conservation.
This year, we’re raising money in support of Ben Wood, co-founder of Plod for Pastries, who is running the 2026 TCS London Marathon for Save the Rhino International.

Last year’s Croissant Crawl raised £300 for the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA), and we’re hoping to go even bigger this time - with more pastries, more costumes, and more money raised for a great cause.
We’ll head out as a group on a relaxed, conversational-paced run, stopping at multiple independent bakeries along the route for pastries generously donated or discounted for the group. This is not a race - just good vibes, carbs, costumes, and community.
The route and bakeries/cafes we'll be visiting will be anounced in the new year.

Important info
- This is a social run, not a race
- We will run on pavements and obey traffic rules at all times
- Participants take part at their own risk
- Fancy dress is encouraged, but please make sure it’s safe to run in
- Bakery partners will be announced closer to the event
- Spots are limited to keep the run safe and manageable
