This isn't just an open mic - it's your safe and supportive home for creative expression. A monthly gathering where creatives: writers, poets, spoken word artists, lyricists, and storytellers of all kinds come together to share their work, get constructive feedback, and build a vibrant community.

Before our next formal Echo Chamber, we’re stripping back the stage and the spotlights. We’re hosting our very first Community Social—a night dedicated entirely to getting to know the humans behind the pens and pages.

If you’ve been hovering on the edges of our community or following us from afar, this is the night to walk through the door. There are no sign-up sheets, no "performance jitters," and no pressure to be "on."

Meet Your Tribe: Chat with fellow creatives in a setting where the only thing you have to "perform" is an introduction.

Games, Poetry and Fun: In a relaxed environment we will be playing board games & quizzes, doing some fun poetry workshops, improve acting and anything else that takes the creative fancy with food & drink and also a BYOB/BYOF if you so wish.

New Faces Welcome: We are specifically looking to grow our circle! If you’ve never been to an Echo Chamber event, this is the perfect, low-stakes entry point.

Casual Creative Sharing: If the mood strikes, we’ll have space for informal sharing, but the focus is on laughter, snacks, and good conversation.

Info: The Warm-Up & Welcome We’re kicking things off with a soft landing. Use this first hour to mingle, drink and settle in. To get the creative juices flowing without the pressure of a stage, we’ll jump into some lightweight improv games and fun.These aren’t about being a professional actor; they’re just a fun, hilarious way to break the ice, shake off the nerves, and get everyone laughing together.

Info: Once we’ve found our rhythm, we’ll transition into our Poetry Workshop Prompts. This is a relaxed, collaborative session where we’ll provide unique themes and "spark words" to help you scribble down something new. Whether you’re a seasoned lyricist or someone who hasn't written a poem since school, these prompts are designed to be accessible and inspiring. You can choose to share what you’ve written with your table or simply keep it in your notebook for a future Echo Chamber.

Info: For the final stretch, the floor is yours. We’ll break out a curated collection of board games and card games—ranging from quick-fire word games to classic tabletop favorites. This is the ultimate "low-pressure" zone: a space to chat, play, and connect with new faces while the music plays in the background. Whether you're strategising over a game or tucked in a corner discussing your favorite books, this is where the community really clicks.
