What started as a full-steam homage to Miss Sharon Jones took a left turn when the wheels fell off and the ship lifted high above Love Park , clipping the hat off that bird-dropping-covered statue of William Penn and straight into the sun. PJ Brown and Her Resistance continues its mission to spread love and music – To celebrate lost souls, excited shapeshifters, perennial drifters, aspiring troublemakers. and unapologetic agents of change. It’s troubled soul music, taped-together rock and roll, basement party funk—it’s dark as night and light as day—and all of it is for you!
