About this Event
Movies depict Vikings having raucous feasts, huge chunks of meat, with mead flowing freely. Is this accurate? What did a Viking feast really look like and how is this different than what they ate on a regular day? They were well known travelers. How did they cook on the road or at sea? Learn the answers as more in this always entertaining class returns for the first time in 4 years. Bring your questions and be prepared to learn to eat like a Viking! You will even leave with some Viking recipes to try at home. Plus, a special Viking snack is included with your ticket.
Our class leader, James Bushell, is a retired chef who has been studying Viking foods and the culture surrounding them for over a decade. He is the chef for the Swedish Cultural Center Leif Erikson Day feasts and has been featured in The Norwegian American.
All ages welcome. Our full kitchen and bar will also be open during the class. Your ticket includes a $5 bar/food credit.
No refunds. Transfers to future classes allowed.
