Learn about and try plant medicines with Medical Herbalist Tash, who works with herbal medicines from all over the world in a clinical way (9-5) helping people with their health complaints and in an energetic way (healing events) helping people reconnect with themselves and nature. This event is designed to be a fun class in herbal medicine while we make some fun and powerful preparations - first, you will learn about over ten herbs and create a herbal infusion, setting an intention - it is the summer solstice!
This session we will be creating two treatments to take home and enjoy:
1) A medicinal infused oil treatment for deep nourishing of the scalp and hair, promoting healthy hair growth and scalp health, relieving tension and deeply nourishing the hair - to be used as a hair mask overnight - you will take this home in a bottle.
2) A body butter medicinal massage bar - discussing different recipe variations for whether you would like a sensual bar, a skin-soothing bar or a muscle relaxant bar
We will also have an opportunity to taste some relaxing and soothing herbs in tea or tincture form and complete the event with a deep relaxation with some healing medicine music - for some deep plant-powered sound healing and a moment for yourself.
You will receive an emailed handout a few days after the event with notes on the herbs we learned and the recipes we created.
