DIY BEDROOM POP MEETS SYNTH POP MEETS DARK SYNTH POP gone rogue from Vancouver, Canada (Night School / Rough Trade). Former brat in post punk / punk bands like Modern Creatures and Automatic Fancy. Sort of sound like if 80s bands didn't work with producers and had shitty recording equipment but they still wrote good songs and then Kate Bush got mashed up Siouxsie and female Dave Gahan...oh wait, that's a whole genre already, isn't it? Plenty of synth, heartfelt vocals and lyrics, diva-licious like the early days of The Smiths.
Terror Bird has played with Grimes, TR/ST, The Human League, Merchandise, The Chameleons, Future Islands, Xiu Xiu and has collaborated musically with Maya Postepski of Austra, Sally Dige, Jason Corbett of Actors and has written songs with Easter from Berlin.
