The Danish Duo: Danish cord weaving and Danish pastries

Join us in person for a fun and hands-on session! Dive into the art of Danish cord weaving and craft your very own stool.
Enjoy free Danish pastries, tea and coffee.
Perfect for all skill levels, this workshop lets you experience traditional techniques while creating a stylish piece to take home. Don't miss out on a chance to get creative and meet fellow craft lovers!

NOTE you will attend x4 workshops throughout May. 10am-12.00 every Tuesday. Leave with your completed stool on Tuesday 26th May.

• – A guided taster session where participants learn basic Danish cord weaving skills and weave their own stool.
• – Prepare legs/frame, including light sanding, oil finish, followed by the weaving.
• – Materials: We only use premium-quality beech and Danish cord, and the frame is flawlessly hand-machined in Manchester.
• – Tools and Equipment: All necessary tools and equipment for the workshop are provided.
• – You don’t need prior experience, just nimble fingers! Beginners welcome.

• – This will be a small group with 5-7 participants.
• – Cake and drinks are provided, as is a nice bit of chit-chat.
• – Size: 470mm x 350mm x 355mm. Solid beech, manufactured in the UK.
• – Danish cord – traditional natural and black options (black is an extra £8.00)
• – The cord pattern will be either 2×2 or Checkerboard.
