About this Event

Espíritu Flamenco, based in Heaton Mersey, bring traditional flamenco to the Chorlton Arts Festival with musicians direct from Valencia. This highly expressive art is based around traditional flamenco song forms (cante), with accompaniment (guitar and percussion) and dance. A fun workshop suitable for all ages, bringing a taste of southern Spain. Easy dance steps and clapping rhythms for everybody to join in.
Sarah Chambers, a local dancer and teacher, returns to the Chorlton Arts Festival with flamenco singer Noelia Jiménez and guitarist Sergio García, both from Valencia.
