“All writing is re-writing.” Stephen King.
This workshop is designed to help you develop your work. You don't need to be the most experienced writer in the world to take part, but you will need a draft, ideally at least 750 words long, of a piece of fiction that you’re working on. (Something longer - for example, a draft of a short story - would be even better.)
The workshop includes writing exercises interspersed with input on the various aspects of redrafting your fiction. These include: macro editing and micro-editing; cutting out, putting in, leaving in; triaging; and project management.
Please bring along a pen, something to write on, and a print-off of your draft.
