About this Event
In August 2024, Amy Watson was harassed on her commute. A man followed her down the platform, sat next to her on the train, asked her name, where she worked. She stayed calm. She stayed polite. He grabbed her hand as she stood to leave.
No one helped.
She walked into the office that morning furious. Not performing anger. Actually angry.
That fury became HASSL.
In under 18 months, Amy has built one of the fastest-growing social impact movements in the UK. 425,000 followers. 200 million views. A global survey of 7,500 people across 100 countries. A written submission to a UK Parliament committee on how social platforms profit from misogyny. A book deal with Wiley.
Three people on the team. No corporate backing at the start.
Her mission: fix the culture. Not women.
HASSL doesn't teach women to protect themselves. It asks something harder, that men understand the role they play. Not the ones grabbing hands on trains. The ones who watched and did nothing. The ones who didn't know what to do. The ones who never realised this was even happening.
That's why Amy is here.
The Dad Project exists for honest conversations men often don't have. This is one of them.
